I just can’t do it. I can’t skip an entire season on my blog because our lives were so taken over by this:
The packing and unpacking of all those boxes. The decorating, the organizing, the shopping, the having our floors replaced, and all the rest of the stress of moving has sort of put blogging low on my priority list. However, life has continued on for our family and I feel the need to do a recap. It’s gonna be kind of long, but mostly pictures. I will feel much better after this:)
October 10 – Hailey turns 7!
Her class made this cute poster for her.
And there were many family and friend celebrations. She planned her whole birthday party from a Fancy Nancy Tea Party book she had gotten at the library. She made the list of activities and everything. It was so cute and totally her.
We loved celebrating that sweet girl.
Then there was a big painting party with my stepmom, Debby. I am SO thankful for the day she spent with me helping me figure out how to make old furniture into stuff I love. REALLY wish I would have taken before and after pictures to show the amazing transformations!
October means annual pumpkin patch pictures, some of my favorite photo opportunities.
I love this last one:)
And Halloween quickly follows the pumpkin patch. I was a super lame mom this year and pretty much told the girls to figure out what they could be out of dress up or what we already have. The funny thing is, they loved their costumes and never complained once.
The Fairy princess
The Rockstar
The princess (obviously VERY different from the fairy princess)
We had some days of exploring our new property and the trails that are all over it. It was so beautiful in the Fall!
In November, I celebrated a birthday.
And had a fun night with friends, appetizers at Ristrettos and seeing Breaking Dawn. Did I really just openly admit that?
Sorry, Chelsea, but this picture cracks me up. Look how high you jumped! Except that it appears you are kissing Bella.
And FINALLY, Aunt Megan continued her tradition of taking the girls to Disney on Ice. They were spoiled, as they are each year. She’s a pretty great aunt:)
So, those were some of the highlights. Of course, I had to leave some stuff out, but at least the Fall season was acknowledged! I keep wanting to blog Christmas-y kinds of things and now I can. Recap accomplished.
