On a rare year, the Edwards clan all got to spend fourth of July together. We hung out at Kurt and Steph’s house, which gave our girls the perfect opportunity to spend the day planning the first Edwards’ Olympics. Here are the Olympic organizers:
It was one of those things that at first none of the adults really wanted to do. But it actually turned out really fun. Especially for me, who couldn’t participate due to taking on the job of photographer. They had us get into partners, name our teams (such as North Korea, Canada, or “Old and Older”) and compete in different events: three-legged race, Fill the bucket, and hula hoop relay. We received points for how well we did.
At the end, “The Supers” were victorious (Alice and Cory). There may have been a little trash-talking.
Super fun, as was the rest of the evening:)
Love seeing big fireworks from the backyard.
