Daddy wanted it for a long time, but I was not ready to cut the girls' long hair! Symantha has wanted to have hair like Opal on the "Because of Winn Dixie" movie (which is a great big kid movie, by the way) but I kept telling her no. She had such thick, long hair - I loved it when I had the time to do it. But I had always said if I ended up with 3 girls, I was going to have to start cutting some hair off! Baths and doing hair each day was so much work, I finally relented and agreed to more than a trim. Symantha's is above her shoulders and Hailey's is just a bit past the shoulder. I'm glad we did it, because I think they look adorable and it is SO much easier!

I tore everything in my right shoulder. (I am right handed) I will be in a brace sling for two months and relearning how to use my arm for another six. I am not aloud to even look at a leash and we have no fence in the yard. Jake is working long hours and Kyan just can't hold it that long.:( My hair was just unable to be done left handed. I so wanted to be able tokeep both the dog and my hair!my hair will grow and Kyan is going to a great home. Surgery is the tenth...thank you so much for the prayers!! i will be great lefthanded by the end...changing diapers one handed with my left hand!!Woohoo!!
The girls' hair is so cute. I wonder if you are still happy about it? The only reason I ask is because Ryan out-reasoned me into cutting Hannah's hair in December and I still regret doing it. They just can't get those wispy curli-cues back. But on the flip side, it is nice not to have so many tangles and hair washing is much much quicker and incredibly more painless (as if it hurt to begin with....).
I also think I'm jadded about cutting little kids' hair because I got a Dorthy Hamil haircut as a kid and people thought I was a boy. It left an impression and I've vowed never to cut Hannah's hair THAT short. (Her's was cut just past shoulder like you youngest).
