I turned 33 over the weekend. For the first time, I actually had to think twice about how old I was... seems like mid-30's become a blur! I celebrated Friday night by going out with Derek - my mom was nice enough to come over and stay with the kids. At dinner, he gave me my present, which was a new camera! We had been talking about investing in a really good camera for a long time, and he had done some research and gotten a Nikon D80. I am even more excited about the fact that it comes with 18 camera classes at the camera shop in Covington. I am always taking pictures of the kids and our family, and I am thankful that Derek agrees that this camera is a worthwhile investment - I can't wait to learn more and sharpen my photography skills!
